Saucony Peregrine 7 [REVIEW]

Saucony Peregrine

When I started looking around for trail running shoes, I didn’t just want an ‘ok’ shoe, I wanted the badass shoe of all shoes that could tackle any kind of crazy trail I threw at it. Sure, I’m not out running in the Alps every day, but that doesn’t mean I don’t aspire to and for that reason, need gear that I’m 100% confident in.

Saucony’s Peregrine line of trail shoes ticks this box for me. I snagged the “7” model but that means the equally capable “6” is pretty well discounted (as seen below). Carbon fiber foot plate, bi-directional tread design and a lightweight, rugged construction are all things that drew me to the shoe. I have two months and roughly 62 miles in these shoes and there’s almost no sign of use on them!

Bottom Line: If you are just getting into trail running, or if you’re a pro looking for a change, give them a try.

This is an unbiased review. I was not compensated in any way for this perspective.
