Race week is here! After fifteen weeks of preparation, there’s nothing left to do but go race this damn thing! Ironman 70.3 Indian Wells will be my first 70.3 distance race as well as my first triathlon in a couple years. All of that gives me plenty of reasons to doubt/stress/worry but all I can do is feel grateful that I’m this close and feeling strong and healthy. Each of my disciplines have come a long way since committing to this race, details of which I’ll probably scrutinize post-race in depth.
But for now, here’s what we’re looking at for race schedule this weekend, heading out to the race city on Friday morning with Audrey and the pups.
We’ll have what’s left of Sunday afternoon to laze around and relax as well as a hefty breakfast on Monday morning before heading back to Los Angeles. I’m planning on throwing back a few of the things I’ve cut out of my diet the past five weeks, any personal faves you all would recommend?
