I’ve been so focused on training these past few weeks that when I finally looked ahead at the calendar it hit me like a ton of bricks: it’s practically time for taper! I’ve heard some people take three weeks for a 70.3, others say two, and of course there are some that have a more scientific taper that splits the three disciplines out. I’ll likely go for two and start focusing my mind on being centered for the race.

Everything feels like it’s gelling really well, so here’s to another three weeks of taper/training!
