Don’t worry guys. Not dead. I hated the last few days though. That was not fun. Tried to get out running this morning again after feeling amazing last night but body wasn’t having it yet. In the meantime, some people were kind enough to tag me in this 10 facts thing so let’s do that 🤷🏻‍♂️
-
1️⃣ I have 2 siblings and 27 months is all that separates us. I’m the middle, aka, best child 💁🏻‍♂️
2️⃣ In grade 6 I won a school wide public speaking contest. It’s a huge fear of many people, but a passion of mine. The topic, being tall 😂 (I was NOT back then)
3️⃣ This might not be a surprise, but my first steady job was at @timhortons 🍩
4️⃣ I lived in the Seattle/Vancouver area for 6 years and loved it. The rain was actually nice when I first moved out there, but by the time I moved away, I was done 🌧
5️⃣ I have visited the same percentage of states and provinces, 60%. 30 states, 6 provinces.
6️⃣ I wear glasses. Well, contacts mostly, but my vision really sucks. I often think how if I ever got stranded on a desert island without my glasses, the contacts would only last so long and I’d be screwed 🤓
7️⃣ If Kawhi leaves the @raptors , I was PERFECT from beyond the arc in high school. I could probably pick it back up for a cool 2mil/yr 🏀
8️⃣ I did a lot of plays and musicals growing up. Thankfully I did not grow up in the social media age and you will find zero evidence of any of it 🤣
9️⃣ My acne is was probably worse than yours in high school. I remember a stranger in the airport stopping me to tell me how I could clear it up. Who does that?!? Also, thankful lol
🔟 I have always owned a manual transmission car. It was the best in college because you didn’t have to lend out your car to friends because nobody knows how to drive it 🚙 —
Now you know everything about me. Yes, everything. Pretty exciting right? DM for speaking and autograph requests at your next event 🤣

#CrushItZone Challenge Wristbands (2pk)

$1.00

This past fall, I led a series of runs with Lululemon and one evening had the idea to bring glow necklaces for runners to wear. It was a HUGE hit and after noticing many runners wrapping their wrists with the glowing tubes, it occurred to me that a simple wristband could be an awesome #CrushItZone item! Bonus if it could glow in the dark.

About the same time, Audrey asked if I had considered a challenge to start off 2019. Immediately I started thinking of something super complex where points were scored for doing certain activities, but scaled it back to: set a goal for yourself and know that there’s a community cheering you on!

This is how these wristbands came to be. Simple and pairs really well with any smart watch for daily use. It serves as a reminder that we can have big goals and achieve them by showing up and putting in our best!
